Welcome to Differential Equations and Linear Algebra (MATH 2090).

The course will be based on the book

                                'Differential Equations and Linear Algebra; Second Edition',

by Stephen W. Goode, published by Prentice Hall.

Here are the rules of the Game:

1. There will be three tests (in class) on the following (tentative) days:
   

   Tuesday, September 19, 2006
   Tuesday, October 17, 2006
   Tuesday, November 21, 2006
   

2. The final exam will be a comprehensive exam.
   
   
3. We will use WebWorks for homework assignments. Starting in the second week
   you will get one assignment each week.
   
   
4. There will be no make-up quizzes or make-up exams.
   
   
5. Please note the change in the "W" policy of LSU.
   
   
6. Important Dates:
   September 4th, Labor Holiday
   September 7th, Final Date for adding courses for credit and making section changes
   October 5-6, Fall Holidays
   October 16-21, Midterm period
   November 23-24, Thanksgiving Holidays
   December 9, Classes end
   
   

You are highly encouraged to come to my office hours, pose questions in class (or by email)
and, in particular, to discuss the material with your classmates.

Class attendence is absolutely necessary and required. In case you will be unable to
attend one session, please drop me an email.
