GK-12 Summer AcademyTo give GK-12 fellows and teachers the opportunity to interact with participants of the Summer Math Circle, the 2008 GK-12 Summer Academy will be from June 9-13 (tentatively) in Prescott Hall on the LSU campus. |

The GK-12 program is a subdivision of the Graduate Division of the National Science Foundation. The GK-12 program is designed to give graduate students an opportunity to make a significant impact on K-12 schools in their community. The GK-12 fellows at Louisiana State University have a variety of roles that range from teaching Advanced Placement courses to improving the algebra instruction to middle school students and offer test preparation for state mandated standardized tests.
