Math 2065 Syllabus
Textbook: Ordinary Differential Equations by W.A. Adkins and M. G. Davidson. Available from Fedex/Kinkos, 159 W. State St., Telephone: 344-7296. There is also an optional solutions manual that can be purchased at the same place. This manual contains solutions to many, but not all, exercises in the text. Supplemental Materials: 1. Function Properties is a sheet with commonly used properties of the exponential, logarithm and trigonometric functions. 2. Integral Table is a brief table of integrals with which you should be familiar from your calculus class.

		A brief summary of matrix algebra can be downloaded: Matrix Primer. This, together with a knowledge of how to compute determinants for 2x2 and 3x3 matrices, will be all that is needed for the applications to systems that we will be discussing. The material is covered more completely in Chapter 6 of the text. Some exercises on these topics are found in the following sections of Chapter 6 of the text.
