Carolyn Chun
I am currently a graduate student at the
Department of Mathematics at
Louisiana State University. I am
supported by a VIGRE
Fellowship. I run the combinatorics seminar for the 2008-2009
academic year. I study matroid theory and
graph theory with my advisor James Oxley.
Preprints of some of my articles are available in PDF form:
- Chun, Ding,
Oporowski, and Vertigan, Unavoidable parallel minors of 4-connected
graphs, J. Graph Theory, to appear.
- Chun, Ding,
Unavoidable topological minors of infinite graphs.
Submitted.
- Chun, Mayhew, Oxley, A
chain theorem for internally 4-connected binary matroids.
Submitted.
- Aikin,
Chun, Hall, Mayhew, Internally 4-connected binary matroids with
cyclically sequential orderings. Submitted.
- Chun, Oxley, Unavoidable parallel minors of regular
matroids. In preparation.
- Chun, Oxley, Unavoidable minors of infinite matroids.

Recent and upcoming presentations:
- LSU Combinatorics Seminar November 21, 2008, A
chain theorem for internally 4-connected binary
matroids.
