Research Interests: Representation Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Quantum Groups

I’m interested in the geometry and combinatorics of algebraic and quantum homogeneous spaces.  Currently, I am thinking about total positivity in semisimple algebraic groups and their flag varieties, and eventually I want to learn about related constructions for quantum groups.  I also have side interests in Seiberg-Witten theory and low-dimensional topology.

Awards:          Louisiana State University, Board of Regents Fellowship     2007 - 2001

I studied Math In Moscow at the Independent University of Moscow; here are views of Moscow State University (that's where I lived) in the winter: flash, no flash; and in the spring.
