Interactions Between Hyperbolic Geometry, Quantum Topology and Number Theory

Abstract: In these lectures, I will give an introduction to the Volume Conjecture and its generalizations.
In the third talk, I will show how we can generalize the conjecture by deforming the parameter of the colored Jones polynomial. Such a deformation would correspond to a deformation of the hyperbolic structure of a knot complement.
