  • Spring 2008: I received a Certificate for Teaching Excellence.
  • Spring 2008: The Pacific Coast Undergraduate Mathematics Conference featured my two Math Horizons articles on Math Clubs.
  • Fall 2007: I've been active in the Virtual Seminar on Knot Homologies, Combinatorics Seminar, and Junior Topology Seminar.
  • Fall 2007: My article "Sustaining Your Math Club" was accepted for publication in the Sept 2008 issue of Math Horizons.
  • Summer 2007: I passed my foreign language requirement, and I spent the rest of my time working with the REU here at LSU.
  • May 2007: I passed my General Exam and am working on my research project: Khovanov Homology, a way of distinguishing knots.
