AnnouncementsCSLI recognizes HillelLSU: The Center for Student Leadership and Involvement recognized Hillel for two awards this April: one for "Most Outstanding New Student Organization" and the other for "Program of Excellence" for the Sukkot's week of events. Present at the reception were advisor Dan Novak, nominated for Advisor of the Year, senior Rachel Spinner, nominated for the Legacy award, and Moshe Cohen, Interim Program Coordinator and major facilitator of the Sukkot program. Tina Gargotta, nominated for the Unsung Hero award, was unable to attend. Although Hillel, having registered during the previous year, is not officially a new organization, it won the award based on its outstanding revival. (see pictures)

Be the next JEWISH STAR!Become a leader in the Jewish community on campus and have a party thrown in your honor! Compete with other undergraduates by contributing to Jewish life on campus.
