Summer Camp: Counselors and Specialists
Camp Poyntelle Lewis Village
a traditional Reform/Conservative Jewish summer sleep away camp in Pennsylvania.
We are a JCC, ACA accredited camp that annually hires over 150 college-aged staff members to work as counselors and specialists during the summer.

Museum of Southern Jewish Experience: Internship
Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life
seeks an incoming college junior, senior, or graduate student.
Duties may include
- managing the museum collection and cataloging new acquitions
- developing and implementing educational programs for youth and adults
- leading group tours
- assisting with traveling exhibits sponsored by the museum
- conducting historical and grant research
- helping in public relations and fund raising
- planning Jewish cultural programs
Interns will receive free room and board at the Henry S. Jacobs Camp for Living Judaism in Utica, Mississippi, as well as a stipend.

History Internship Opportunity
Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life
is looking for summer interns to work with the director of its History Department.
Duties may include
- Organizing and archiving information in the history files
- Road trips to southern communities to collect historical documents and information
- Historical research and writing
- Assisting our oral historian in interviewing subjects
- Putting archival information on the Institute website
- Transcribing & indexing oral histories
- Grant research and preparation
- Assist with development of interpretive projects
- Assist with planning and promotion of cultural events
Interns will reside in Jackson, Mississippi and receive a stipend, though interns will be responsible for paying room and board.

Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life
is looking to hire recent graduates for its Education Fellowship.
Fellows travel throughout the South to assist with the implementation of a comprehensive religious school curriculum.
This is a full-time, two-year position.
Assisting teachers in implementng a comprehensive religious school curriculum
Conducting teacher training sessions
Leading Shabbat and holiday services
Creating religious school programming for all age groups
Organizing and directing an annual educational conference
Assisting with community and cultural programming
On the job training is provided, as well as salary, expenses, and benefits.
Past fellows have been accepted into top graduate programs and received quality job offers in the Jewish community.
Qualifications: College degree, active involvement in Jewish life or organizations, resume, references
