Programming Guide

So you want to hold an event? Use these guidelines to help your event be more successful (and to earn points for the competition).

First choose an event type or types to help provide structure:
Holiday, Educational, Community Service, Social Justice, or Social

What is the purpose of this event?
How many people are you expecting? What group(s) are you targeting?
What can you do to make the event more attractive/fun?
What can you do to make the event more educational?

With these ideas in mind, fill out a Program Registration Form and schedule an appointment with Moshe Cohen (moshe@math.lsu.edu) to brainstorm further, find out what your budget is, and find out how to advertise.

You will need to register your event in order to receive funding (and points).
