Tests: There will be 2 tests each of 50-min length:

Final Exam: Tuesday, December 8, 5:30-7:30pm in 114 Lockett Hall, see LSU's Final Exam Schedule
Final date for rescheduling a final exam is November 6, see 2007-2008 Academic Calendar
Homework: There will be regular homework assigments which need to be completed on time using the computer interface webworks at http://webwork.math.lsu.edu/webwork2/Math-1550-09-Fall2009/
If you have trouble using webworks, come and see me before (!) the assignement is due.
Quizzes: None
Grading policy:
Best 2 out of 3 (2 exams, homework) plus final:
2 Exams: 30% each
Final exam: 40%
Homework: 30%
Calculators: scientific calculators may be used, ask your instructor
Remarks: Cell phones must be turned off during class. Classroom disruption and academic dishonesty are not tolerated.
There will be no make-up exam. If you miss an exam, this will be your drop-exam.
Please ask questions in class, and make full use of my office hours.
