Dear former LSU Math graduate student or teacher,

The twenty years 1960-1979 were special times in the LSU Math department.   In an effort to assess what
was being done in this department at that time that initiated so many successful mathematics careers, we are announcing an LSU MathDoctoral Program Assessment Conference and we hope you will be able to attend.  All former LSU math students, teachers, and spouses are welcome, but we are featuring those whose LSU years intersect the period 1960-1979.

The meeting will be all day Saturday, February 9, 2002 in room B 15 in the basement of Lockett Hall, which is the present math building.
