The participants of the summer school were asked by Park
City to be a part of the summer celebration parade. Well, we went
a little overboard. The pseudo-holomorphic bubble mobile led the
way followed by a wave front made out of student and professors.
Here is the pseudo-holomorphic bubble mobile:
Do you see tori, `Klein bottles,' and knots?

Preparing for the parade:
I also had the chance to climb the mountains surrounding
Park City. I have done a lot of hiking and backpacking, but never summited
a true mountain until that day. Coincidently, it is named ``Scott's
Peak.'' (It's also called Jupiter Peak depending on which side you summit).
Yes, those dots near the peak are trees.
Here I am at the top:
That day we walked between 12-15 miles. I was sore the next day, but
not sore enough to go up the mountain
again, this time on bikes. Going up was tough, but riding down
a mountain on a bike is amazing! (That is, if you don't break your neck.)
The last adventure during Park City was spent day
hiking Bryce Canyon in the southern part of Utah. Here I am with
my mathematics comrades:
