Prior to facing the rigors of their first semester, incoming math students will:

• be given the opportunity to learn about campus life;
  
  
• receive academic exposure and training in challenging 1st year courses (e.g., Calculus, Physics);
  
  
• learn skills and strategies for survival and academic success in a university setting;
  
  
• learn about the importance of communication within the mathematics discipline;
  
  
• build connections with math faculty, students, staff and practicing professionals.
  
  

The Tiger Prep Math Camp will be held in conjunction with LSU's Encounter Engineering (E²) program.
