Barbara
Manning
Barbara has been around since 1988. She didn't make too many albums since
then, but evrything she did was very good and counts as best in so called
altenative rock. Her album with SF Seals, inspired by legendary Pretty Things
album SF Sorrow, Truth Walks in Sleepy Shadows was one of the
most interesting albums of the nineties. She also colaborated with Calexico
members (Burns and Convertino) on her solo work 12 12. On this new
album, You Should Know by Now she is accompanied by Go Luckies!, actually
two boys with Italian names, and they surprised us pleasently with a raw punk
rock sound.
