The current graduate students are launching a new program for incoming grads!
"Geaux" is pronounced "GO", as in "Geaux Tigers!", a common phrase at a campus sports event. The program is for the first two weeks before classes begin in the fall: Monday, August 11th through Saturday, August 23rd, 2008.
This program will provide helpful resources to all incoming first year graduate students in the L.S.U. Mathematics Department. Here is a short list of some of the great things that will be going on during this week of welcome:
The G.E.A.U.X. Team has also been researching and documenting some of the best information essential to incoming graduate student living. Completed guides are already available through the menu on the right.
The G.E.A.U.X. Team's names were changed to protect the innocent. They'll be back soon. You may choose to contact all previous coordinators by emailing geaux@math.lsu.edu.
Connect with other first year students and the rest of the department on the Facebook group G.E.A.U.X. Math at LSU!
