My main research interests are mathematical modeling in dynamic
fracture mechanics, fluid dynamics,
and scattering of sound and electromagnetic waves.
I am particularly interested in exact and approximate methods for
the vector Riemann-Hilbert boundary-value problem,
difference equations with variable coefficients,
singular integral equations, and applications of the theory
of automorphic functions and
Riemann surfaces in continuum mechanics
and physics.
