The focus of this conference was on hyperplanes arrangements, multivariable hypergeometric functions, and their applications in mathematical physics. Alexander Varchenko delivered a series of ten lectures entitled "Arrangements, Hypergeometric Functions, and KZ-Type Equations." There were also talks by the following other speakers:
Kazuhiko Aomoto Eduardo Cattani Michael Falk Toshitake Kohno Peter Orlik Alexander Suciu Hiroaki Terao Sergey Yuzvinsky Financial support. The conference was funded by the National Science Foundation, which provided (partial) support for approximately 30 participants.
