WHAT TO BRING

LSU Picture Identification (Issued at Orientation)

CLOTHES

  • Clothing for a week
  • Business Casual/Professional Dress for the Industry Dinner (No flip flops, tank tops, short skirts, No clothing with holes or frayed edges)
  • Tennis Shoes (Adventures Training Activity)
  • Comfortable Shoes
  • Light Jacket (some classrooms are cold)

decorationHOUSING

  • A separate charge for housing will appear on your university fee bill
  • Approximate cost is $25 a night.

MEALS

  • Three meals per day are provided for the week.

NOTE: SMOKE, DRUG & GUN FREE ZONE

LSU is a smoke-free environment, no smoking will be allowed in dorm room or during activities. Alcohol and guns are not allowed on campus. These policies will be strictly enforced.

DVD PLAYERS, I-PODS, PLAY STATIONS ETC

Bring at your own risk or bring lock box with combination lock.

VACCINATIONS

Participants should have up-to-date VACCINATIONS. This means that you should have received a tetanus booster within the last 10 years. If you are not up-to-date on your tetanus booster, you can receive a vaccination through your primary care physician or the LSU Student Health & Wellness Center on the corner of Infirmary Road and West Chimes. The cost for the vaccination through the Health and Wellness Center is $20. Contact (225) 578-0953 to schedule an appointment. If, while on site, you do receive a puncture wound and your booster has not been within the last 5 years, you must receive another tetanus vaccination. Current Hepatitis vaccinations are recommended but not required. Please provide the LSU Student Health & Wellness Center a copy of your vaccination records.
