Rooms for the participants have been reserved at the Cook Hotel on LSU's Campus (3848 West Lakeshore Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808, 225-383-2665). Check-in/out dates are April 5th-8th. For changes, please let one of the organizers know. Note that all the talks of the workshop will also take place at the Cook Hotel (see the schedule page ).
The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) is very conveniently located close to downtown Baton Rouge and to LSU's campus. The best way to reach the Cook Hotel from BTR is by taxi (about $20 ride). There are always taxis available at the arrivals section of the terminal.
Unfortunately, Baton Rouge is not known for the quality of its public transportation. For those wanting to explore the Baton Rouge area, a car rental is recommended. The organizers will also make an effort to provide rides for local transportation. Taxi service within the city is not always reliable, though in case of need the main taxi company is Yellow Cab. Uber also operates within the city.
