Professor Susanne C. Brenner edited the book Topics in Numerical Partial Differential Equations and Scientific Computing as part of the Springer series The IMA Volumes in Mathematics and its Applications.
The book grew out of the second WhAM! research collaboration workshop for women in Applied Mathematics that took place in August 12-15, 2014 at the Institute for Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA) in Minneapolis. Among the co-authors of the six peer reviewed chapters are Susanne C. Brenner, Kamana Porwal (Postdoc at LSU 2014-2016) and Carol S. Woodward (Lawrence Livermore National Lab, B.S. in Math from LSU).
Susanne C. Brenner is the Nicholson Professor of Mathematics.
