Pramod Achar was appointed to the Editorial Board of Advances in Mathematics. The research journal was founded in 1961. Pramod Achar joined the LSU Math Department in 2004. He is the Shirley Blue Barton Professor of Mathematics. In 2020 he was elected as a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society (AMS).
