| About the MathVision Lab | A part of the Department of Mathematics at Louisiana State University and funded by the Lousiana Board of Regents, the MathVision Lab contributes to mathematics education around the state by working with teachers, schools, scool districts, universities and local and state government. Current MathVision Lab projects are funded by NSF, the Louisiana Education Enhancement Program, the Louisiana Department of Education, the Louisiana Systemic Initiativeand the Louisiana Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of Teachers. Projects aim to better understand the systems that produce and deliver mathematics education, to improve mathematics curricula in grades K-16, to provide professional development for teachers and to foster collaborations among all agencies that have a hand in mathematics education. | ||||
