How to bypass St. Patrick's Day parade traffic in Baton Rouge:

  • If you are coming into Baton Rouge from the East on interstate I-10 or I-12, avoid Acadian Throughway, instead exit earlier, at College Dr. (Exit 158, right after I-10 and I-12 merge). Off the exit ramp turn left into College Dr. to go under the interstate. Follow College to Highland Rd, turn right into Highland and proceed to campus.

  • If you are coming into Baton Rouge from the west on interstate I-10, exit at Nicholson Dr.-Highland Rd (Exit 155A, right after the Mississippi River  bridge), and proceed on Nicholson to campus.
