In-depth treatment of solving equations and inequalities; function properties and graphs; inverse functions; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions with applications; systems of equations.
This course can be used to meet three credit hours toward the general education requirement for analytical reasoning. See the LSU general catalog for more information. This course is a General Education course in the analytical reasoning area because it includes the following area learning objective: "LSU graduates will employ scientific and mathematical methods and technology in the resolution of laboratory and real-world problems."
