GEAUX Topology

This page will function as a way for graduate students in the Topology Group to communicate information to other graduate students, who may not already be on the Topology Group email list.

Contact Oliver Dasbach,, if you would like to be added to this list.

The Topology Group currently boasts 7 professors, a post-doc, and about a dozen graduate students. It features:

  • a weekly seminar on Mondays 3:40-4:30pm in Lockett Hall,
  • a weekly video conference on Knot Homologies (and other topics) Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm in Lockett Hall,
  • three seminar courses a year above Algebraic Topology & the required CORE classes, and
  • the Louisiana-Texas Topology Retreat each year, either here at LSU or in Texas.
