National Medal of Science winner S. R. Srinivasa Varadhan to deliver 2013 Porcelli Lectures
The 2013 Porcelli Lectures will be given by Professor S. R. Srinivasa Varadhan of the Courant Institute at NYU. Professor Varadhan is known for his seminal contributions to probability theory. He was awarded the National Medal of Science in 2010 and received the Abel Prize in 2007.
The lectures will take place in the Design Building (Room 103) on Wednesday April 17, Thursday April 18, and Friday April 19, from 4:30pm to 5:20pm.
