Dual Enrollment Program DE Course: Math 1431 Business Calculus

Math 1431 covers differential and integral calculus of algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions; applications to business and economics such as maximum-minimum problems, marginal analysis, and exponential growth models.

This is an LSU Integrative Learning Core (ILC) course that awards general education credit. Credit will not be given for this course and Math 1530.

Note: Math 1431 is designed for students who plan to major in business. If offered in the fall, it can be followed by an LSU-created one-semester course for high school credit only titled Finite Math. If offered in the spring, it can be preceded in the fall by Math 1021 or by an LSU-created one-semester course for high school credit only titled Pre-Calculus.
